Wildcats handed fine for punitive training
The QMJHL has fined the Moncton Wildcats $2500 for punitive training right after a game. The incident occured after Moncton’s 5-1 loss to the Acadie-Bathurst Titan on Thursday night.
Darren Rumble, unhappy with his team’s performance, sent his team back out after the game for a skating session. Moncton is currently on a five-game losing streak after being defeated 2-1 on Sunday in Saint John.
Moncton will look to end this streak when they face Cape Breton on Friday.
