Chabot scores first professional goal

Thomas Chabot is off to a fast start in his professional career. In just his second game with the Belleville Senators he scored his first career American Hockey League goal. It was also the first goal in Belleville Senators history.

Chabot also added an assist in the Senators 6-2 loss to Laval. Another former Sea Dog Chris DiDomenico also scored in the game.

On Monday the Ottawa Senators announced that they have recalled Chabot from Belleville. In two games with Belleville, the former first-round pick had a goal and an assist. Thomas Chabot will be available for Ottawa on Tuesday night when the Senators take on Vancouver.
