Hockey Canada announced their coaching staff that will be in place for the 2018 World Junior Championship on Wednesday. Drummonville Voltigeurs coach Dominique Ducharme will be returning to take on head coaching duties for a second consecutive year.

Joining Ducharme behind the bench will be Erie Otters coach Kris Knoblauch and Moose Jaw coach Tim Hunter, thus giving Team Canada the same coaching staff that was in place during this year’s tournament. The trio led Canada to a silver medal last January.

Ducharme is currently in his first year coaching the Drummondville Voltigeurs, where he also serves as general manager. The team is sitting 15th in the overall standings with a 25-32-1-5 record.

The 2018 World Junior Championship will be taking place in Buffalo, N.Y.
