OFFICIAL: Screaming Eagles acquire MacDougall from Remparts


The Cape-Breton Screaming Eagles and Québec Remparts completed a trade on Friday, sending defenceman Ross MacDougall to the Screaming Eagles.

In return for MacDougall, Cape-Breton gives up second- and third-round picks in 2017.

MacDougall, 19, has taken part in 114 QMJHL games, all with Québec, scoring 13 goals and adding 48 assists fo 61 total points. So far this season, the five-foot-11, 180-pound frame has two goals and 20 assists for 22 points in 37 games played.

The deal was confirmed by the QMJHL on Jan. 6, 2017.
