OFFICIAL: Mooseheads trade Kennedy to Wildcats


The Halifax Mooseheads traded overage forward Bradley Kennedy to the Moncton Wildcats on Friday, Jan 6., 2017.

In return, Halifax receives a ninth-round draft pick in 2018. This pick was originally property of the Drummondville Voltigeurs.

Kennedy, an Antigonish, N.S., native, was acquried by Halifax from the Charlottetown Islanders at the 2016 QMJHL draft In exchange for a sixth and a ninth round pick in 2016, as well as a fourth round pick in the 2017 QMJHL draft. Moncton will be his third stop in the Maritimes Divison.

Kennedy has played 232 regular season games in the QMJHL, scoring 60 goals, and totalling 143 career points.

Halifax now has Jake Coughler, Frederic Aube, and Keigan Goetz as its overage players.
