Six QMJHL players to take part in Top Prospects Game
The Canadian Hockey League unveiled on Wednesday the rosters that will be taking part in the 2017 Sherwin-Williams CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game.
Of the final rosters, six QMJHL players will be taking part in the event on Monday, Jan. 30, at the Centre Vidéotron in Québec City, Que.
Competing for Team Cherry will be defenceman Antoine Crête-Belzile (Blainville-Boisbriand Armada) and Pierre-Olivier Joseph (Charlottetown Islanders), as well as forwards Maxime Comtois (Victoriaville Tigres) and Antoine Morand (Acadie-Bathurst Titan).
Playing for Team Orr will be goaltender Alex D’Orio (Saint John Sea Dogs) and forward Nico Hischier (Halifax Mooseheads).
The Sherwin-Williams CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game is an annual event that showcases the top talent in the CHL. This game is a premier occasion for draft-eligible players to put their skills a on display head of the summer’s NHL Entry Draft.
