Drakkar name Cadorette as scout

A familiar face will be returning to the Baie-Comeau Drakkar organization, but this time in a different position.

The Drakkar announced on Monday Philippe Cadorette, a former goaltender for the team, has joined the organization as a scout. He will also help the team when they are in the Montreal area.

Cadorette, 21, played four seasons with the Drakkar, before being traded to the Shawinigan Cataractes. The St-Hyacinthe, Que., native is currently playing with Concordia University.

Cadorette’s father, Martin Cadorette, is an assistant coach with the Drakkar.
