TSN to air NCAA hockey again this season
Last season TSN gave its fans the most NCAA hockey coverage they had ever received. This season TSN has gone out of its way and topped what they provided last year.
The announcement regarding coverage from Canada’s most trusted leader in the sports world came Tuesday.
As the new schedule came out for this year’s 44 game slate, some of the big games which caught my eye included coverage of the 2015 Beanpot, a Boston tradition played on the first two Mondays in February between the four local Division One schools: Boston College, Boston University, Northeastern and Harvard. Along with the Beanpot, TSN announced as well they will be providing coverage of all 15 NCAA National Championship Tournament games.
The final broadcasts of the year come from sunny Tampa Bay, Fla. at Amalie Arena, as the season concludes with the crowning of a National Champion at the 2016 Frozen Four.
The first broadcast is set for tonight at 7:30 p.m. EST. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish will play host to the University of Northeastern Huskies at the Compton Family Ice Arena in South Bend, Ind.
