Mooseheads Somppi leaves game

Otto Somppi left the Halifax Mooseheads home game with the Baie-Comeau Drakkar on Saturday night, Nov. 7 at Scotiabank Centre in Halifax.

The Mooseheads trainer came onto the ice and Somppi left in some discomfort. He did not return to the game.

Somppi had an assist in the contest.

On the season, the Finnish forward has racked up three goals and 18 assists in 22 games played this season.

Halifax won the game 5-4 in overtime on Danny Moynihan’s second tally of the game.
