Former Aramda, Océanic Clapperton agrees to terms with Marlies
The American Hockey League’s Tornoto Marlies have agreed to terms with former Blainville-Boisbriand Armada and Rimouski Océanic forward Christopher Clapperton.
Brad Lynn, Director of Hockey Operations & AHL Governor, confirmed the news on the team’s website on Friday.
Clapperton, 21, appeared in 61 regular season games with Rimouski this past season, recording 35 goals and 41 assists along with posting a plus-33 rating and 77 penalty minutes.
In 18 playoff games, the native of Cap-d’Espoir, Que., posted 12 goals and 13 assists. He also appeared in the MasterCard Memorial Cup with the Océanic in May.
