Former QMJHL defenceman joins UQTR
Former Quebec Major Junior Hockey League defenceman Alexandre Leclerc has joined the University of Québec-Trois-Rivières for the upcoming season.
According to Nicolas Ducharme of Le Nouveliste, the 21-year-old will join the team. Ducharme reported the news on June 13.

In 279 career Quebec Major Junior Hockey League games between the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, Chicoutimi Saguenéens, and Acadie-Bathurst Titan, the native of Quebec City, Que., recorded seven goals and 35 assists along with posting a minus-61 rating and 87 penalty minutes.
Leclerc was drafted by the Huskies at the 2010 Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Entry Draft in round two, 31st overall.
