Titan draftee Ryczek commits to Providence
On Thursday afternoon, Jake Ryczek announced his commitment to Providence College’s NCAA Division I program. The news will likely mean an absence of Ryczek when Titan camp opens in August.
Proud to announce my commitment to Providence College to play hockey! Thanks to everyone who’s helped me along the way. #GoFriars

Drafted in the sixth round of the 2015 QMJHL Entry Draft, the 17-year-old defenceman played with the Sioux City Musketeers of the USHL last season scoring six goals and adding 12 assists in 55 games.
Originally committed to the University of New Hampshire, it appears Ryczek has changed his allegiances from the Wildcats to the Friars. Confirmation of this announcement from the Friars should be coming within the next few days.
Should he suit up for the Friars, he will join another US-born player drafted by the Titan in Erik Foley, drafted in the 10th round of the 2014 QMJHL Draft.
