Remparts add young forward from Voltigeurs

The Quebec Remparts acquired 17-year-old forward Matthew Boucher from the Drummondville Voltigeurs today during the 2015 QMJHL Entry Draft in Sherbrooke, Que.

In return, the Remparts send a fifth-round pick in 2015 (#82 overall) to the Voltiguers.

Boucher scored eight goals and 16 points in 63 games with the Voltiguers this past season. The Los Angeles, Calif., native was a seventh round pick by Drummondville back in 2013.

The Voltigeurs traded the 82nd overall pick to Shawinigan in a separate deal.

The trade was made official by the QMJHL.
