CONFIRMED: Wildcats, Saguenéens swap pairs of picks


The Moncton Wildcats and Chicoutimi Saugenéens swapped a pair of picks today.

Moncton traded their first-round, 17th overall pick in 2015 along with a fourth-round, 72nd overall pick in 2015 to Chicoutimi for a first-round pick, 19th overall in 2015 and a third-round pick, 55th originally owned by Rimouski.

Chicoutimi acquired the 19th overall pick from Cape Breton earlier today with the departure of forward Alexandre Ranger.

The trade was made official by the QMJHL today.

The 2015 QMJHL Entry Draft begins tomorrow at 11 a.m. AST in Sherbrooke, Que.
