Remparts fined $10,000 for public comments regarding officials


The Canadian Hockey League announced Thursday that the Quebec Remparts have been fined $10,000 for public comments of a derogatory nature made by General Manager and Head Coach, Philippe Boucher regarding the league’s officials following the Remparts’ game on Wednesday, May 27, against the Rimouski Oceanic.

The public comments made by Philippe Boucher regarding CHL staff and league officials were unacceptable and were deemed to be detrimental to the best interest of the Canadian Hockey League and the MasterCard Memorial Cup.
