Remparts’ Turcotte suspended one game


Quebec Remparts forward Yannick Turcotte will miss tonight’s Game 5 to serve a suspension.

The 18-year-old, Quebec City, Que., native was handed a one-game suspension yesterday for a late and dangerous for an incident which occurred Wednesday May 13 during Game 4 in Quebec. Turcotte was assessed a two-minute minor for boarding. The suspension was handed out following league revision.

Turcotte scored three goals and seven points with 135 penalty minutes in 61 games this season with the Remparts and has added a goal and an assist in 18 playoff games.

The six-foot, 207-pound winger is eligible to return to Quebec’s lineup in Game 6 on Sunday May 17, 2015.

The best-of-seven President Cup Final series is tied 2-2.
