Telus Cup opens today in Riviere-du-Loup, Que


The Telus Cup, Canada’s national midget championship, will get underway today, Monday, at the Centre Premier Tech in Riviere-du-Loup, Que.

Six teams from across the country will participate in the tournament including Newbridge, Notre-Dame, Chateauguay, Toronto, Regina and Strathmore.

Action gets underway at 12 p.m. EST with Regina battling Toronto, followed by Chateauguay taking on Strathmore at 4 p.m. EST, and the host Notre-Dame challenging Newbridge at 7:30 p.m. EST.
