Screaming Eagles’ Dubois added to Canada’s U18 roster


Cape Breton Screaming Eagles forward Pierre-Luc Dubois was added to Team Canada’s roster for this year’s IIHF World Under-18 Hockey Championship.

Hockey Canada announced the news via Twitter on Saturday.

Dubois, 16, appeared in 54 games with Cape Breton this season, recording 10 goals and 35 assists along with posting a plus-4 rating and 58 penalty minutes.

In seven playoff games for the Screaming Eagles, the native of Ste-Agathe-des-Monts, Que., posted two goals and three assists.

Dubois was drafted by Cape Breton at the 2014 QMJHL Entry Draft in round one, fifth overall.
