Gadoury leaves Game 2 with injury

Halifax Mooseheads forward Philippe Gadoury left Game 2 with an apparent upper-body injury.

The 20-year-old collided with a Moncton Wildcats player early in the first period. Gadoury missed the remainder of the game.

The Greenfield Park, Que. native has two goals and six assists in eight games in the 2015 QMJHL President’s Cup Playoffs. Going into Game 2 of the Mooseheads’ best-of-seven series with the Wildcats, Gadoury had points in four consecutive games.

The Mooseheads defeated the Wildcats, 6-3, in Game 2 to take a 2-0 series lead. Game 3 is slated for Tuesday, Apr. 14 at Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, N.S.
