Playoff match-ups determined

The 2015 Presidents Cup playoffs will kick of Thursday March 27 with the Moncton Wildcats hosting the Chicoutimi Sagueneens at 7 p.m. AST.

After Halifax’s 5-2 win over Moncton yesterday afternoon, all teams have played its 68 games and playoff match-ups have been determined.

Here are the first round match-ups:

(1) Rimouski Oceanic (47-16-3-2) vs. (16) Victoriaville Tigres (27-34-3-4)
-Rimouski was 4-2-0-0 vs. Victoriaville during the regular season.
-Oceanic is 8-1-1-0 in their last 10 games, Tigres are 2-7-1-0 in their last 10 games.
-Rimouski was 28-4-1-1 at home and 19-12-2-1 on the road.
-Tigres were 18-13-2-1 at home and 9-21-1-3 on the road.

(2) Moncton Wildcats (46-19-0-3) vs. (15) Chicoutimi Sagueneens (29-32-4-3)
-Each team was 1-1-0-0 against each other during the regular season.
-Moncton is 7-3-0-0 in their last 10 games, Sagueneens are 5-4-0-1 in their last 10 games.
