Screaming Eagles’ MacSween suspended three games


Cape Breton Screaming Eagles forward Colin MacSween has been suspended three games for a hit to the head.

The suspension is listed on the league’s Discipline section of its website.

The incident happened Saturday March 14, 2015 in Charlottetown against the Islanders. MacSween was handed a match penalty for checking to the head at the 9:44 mark of the second period.

MacSween will miss Cape Breton’s final two games of the season and the first playoff game in Round 1. He will be eligible to return in Cape Breton’s second playoff game of the opening round.

The 18-year-old, Fredericton, N.B., native has two goals and three points in 22 games with the Screaming Eagles this season.
