Sea Dogs’ Imama suspended four games


Saint John Sea Dogs forward Bokondji Imama has been suspended four games for physical abuse to an official.

The incident occurred during the team’s 7-3 loss to the Rimouski Océanic on Saturday.

In 52 games between the Baie-Comeau Drakkar and Sea Dogs, the Montreal, Que., native has 12 goals and 13 assists, along with posting a plus-3 rating and 116 penalty minutes.

Imama will be eligible to return to the Sea Dogs lineup against the Charlottetown Islanders on Feb. 27.
