Remparts’ Murphy suspended for kneeing

Quebec Remparts defenceman Matt Murphy has been suspended two games kneeing.

The incident happened during the third period of the Remparts game against the Drummondville Voltigeurs in Quebec City on Sunday. Murphy was given a game misconduct to his knee of Voltigeurs forward Michael Carcone.

Murphy, who was traded to the Remparts during the winter trade period, has seven goals and 18 assists for 25 points in 46 games between the Halifax Mooseheads and Quebec.
