Screaming Eagles property traded in Maritime Junior Hockey League


Cape Breton Screaming Eagles property Matthew Paul was traded in the Maritime Junior Hockey League on Friday.

The Woodstock Slammers dealt the defenceman to the Amherst Ramblers in exchange for forward Luke McCaw and a sixth-round pick, originally owned by Truro.

Paul, 17, has appeared in 11 games this season with the Slammers, recording one goal and four assists for five points. He also appeared in 13 career Quebec Major Junior Hockey League games with the Screaming Eagles, recording no points, along with posting a plus-6 rating.

The Maritime Junior Hockey League trade period wraps up on Saturday.
