CONFIRMED: Screaming Eagles acquire MacSween and pick from Armada for Corbeil
The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles have acquired forward Colin MacSween and a third-round pick at the 2016 Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Entry Draft from the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada.
In return, the Screaming Eagles send prospect Pascal Corbeil to Blainville-Boisbriand.
In 24 games with the Armada this season, the native of Fredericton, N.B., has recorded one goal, along with posting a minus-5 rating and 26 penalty minutes. He was drafted by Blainville-Boisbriand at the 2013 Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Entry Draft in round eight, 144th overall.
Corbeil, 16, is playing with the Collège Charles-Lemoyne Riverains of the Quebec Midget ‘AAA’ Hockey League this season. In 31 games with the Riverains, the native of Longueuil, Que., has recorded eight goals and 20 assists, along with posting 16 penalty minutes. He was drafted by the Screaming Eagles at the 2014 QMJHL Entry Draft in round two, 30th overall.
