Mooseheads’ Ehlers among Denmark’s top players at World Junior Hockey Championship
Following the quarter-final loss to Team Canada on Friday, Halifax Mooseheads forward Nikolaj Ehlers was named one of three top players for Team Denmark at the World Junior Hockey Championship.
Ehlers, 18, recorded a goal and three assists in five games for Denmark at the tournament.
In 23 games with the Mooseheads this season, the Winnipeg Jets prospect has posted 16 goals and 31 assists for 47 points, along with recording a plus-8 rating and 39 penalty minutes.
Goaltender George Sørensen and Portland Winterhawks forward Oliver Bjorkstrand were also among Team Denmark’s top players.
