Titan reassigns defenceman White to Jr. A Timberwolves

The Acadie-Bathurst Titan continued its New Year’s reorganizing on Thursday by reassigning 18-year-old defenceman Tucker White to the Miramichi Timberwolves of the Maritime Jr. A Hockey League.

The Titan acquired the six-foot-four blue-liner from Holden, Mass., during the pre-season from the Moncton Wildcats in exchange for a 10th-round pick. In 20 games this season, White had not registered a point but held a minus-two rating and incurred seven penalty minutes.

The Timberwolves currently sit third in the six-team Roger Meek Division that encompasses the five New Brunswick and one P.E.I.-based teams with a record of 18-8-2, good for 38 points. According to a press release from the Timberwolves, White will make his debut with the team on Saturday when they take on the South Shore Lumberjacks in Bridgewater, N.S.
