CONFIRMED: Titan trades defenceman Gingras to Saguenéens
With the opening of the 2014-15 QMJHL Winter Trade Period, the Acadie-Bathurst Titan confirmed reports that they will be trading defenceman Anthony Gingras to the Chicoutimi Saguenéens.
In return, the Titan pick up Chicoutimi’s third-round pick in the 2015 QMJHL Draft and Shawinigan’s 10th-round pick in the same draft, which was previously acquired by the Saguenéens in a previous deal.
Gingras joined the Titan during the 2012-13 Winter Trade Period from the Québec Remparts and in 133 total games for the Titan scored 8 goals and added 18 assists while incurring 102 penalty minutes and posting a minus-47 rating.
The trade period comes to a close Jan. 6, 2015.
