QMJHL trade period opens Friday


The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League’s trade period opens on Friday, Dec. 19, and runs until Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015.

As always, each year heading into the league’s trade period there are always rumours.

Here are some rumours around the league heading into the trade period:

Halifax trading Zachary Fucale and Matt Murphy to Quebec.
Rouyn-Noranda trading Quinn O’Brien to Charlottetown for Anthony Wojcik and sixth-round pick.
Drummondville trading Marc-Antoine Bouillon to Blainville-Boisbriand.
Drummondville trading Louis-Philip Guindon to Rimouski.

Note: These trades are not confirmed, but are rumoured.
