Wildcats’ Sweeney added to QMJHL’s Subway Super Series roster; replaces Jérémy Roy

Moncton Wildcats defenceman Jacob Sweeney was added to Team Quebec Major Junior Hockey League’s roster on Wednesday for game six of the Subway Super Series in Rimouski, Que., on Thursday.

Sweeney, 19, replaces Sherbrooke Phoenix defenceman Jérémy Roy, who will miss the game with an injury.

In 24 games with the Wildcats, the native of Quebec City, Que., has recorded three goals and 18 assists for 21 points, along with posting a plus-10 rating and 27 penalty minutes.
