Brouillard named to Super Series roster; replaces Morin



Quebec Remparts defenceman Nikolas Brouillard has been named to the Subway Super Series roster for Team QMJHL in the place of Rimouski Oceanic defenceman Samuel Morin, the Canadian Hockey League in association with the QMJHL announced today.

Morin suffered a broken jaw back on Oct. 12 and has been sidelined ever since.

Brouillard, 19, currently has four goals and 16 points in 19 games with the Remparts this season. He is also fifth on the team in the plus/minus category with a plus-nine rating.

Team QMJHL plays its first game against Team Russia Tuesday Nov. 18 at the K.C. Irving Regional Centre in Bathurst, N.B. The second game, and final game of the six-game CHL series, goes Thursday Nov. 20 in Rimouski, Que. Russia won both its games against the Western Hockey League and its first game against the Ontario Hockey League last night. Both games are at 8 p.m. AST.
