In the spirit of Halloween, The ‘Q’ News asked its Twitter followers, who is the scariest player in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League this season?
The fans have spoke and the scariest player in the QMJHL this season, voted by the fans, is Chicoutimi Saguenéens forward Reid Halabi.
Halabi. 19, is playing in his second season in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. Last season with the Moncton Wildcats, Halabi recorded two goals and four assists for six points, along with posting a minus-11 rating and 149 penalty minutes in 44 games.
The five-foot-10, 192 pound right winger was traded to the Saguenéens on May 30 in exchange for a sixth-round pick and 12th round pick, both at the 2014 Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Entry Draft.
In 16 games this season, Halabi has recorded one goal and one assist for two points, along with posting a minus-2 rating and 53 penalty minutes.
Halabi, and the Chicoutimi Saguenéens, return to action tonight, Friday, when they take on the Baie-Comeau Drakkar at 7:30 p.m. EST, in Baie-Comeau, Que.
