Halifax Mooseheads forward Connor Moynihan has been selected to participate in the upcoming CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game.

Moynihan, 17, will join 42 of his peers in Buffalo, NY on Sept. 25 at the third annual CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game, a game which showcases USA Hockey’s top draft-eligible players.

The Windham, NH native tallied 16 points in 65 games in his rookie season with the Mooseheads last year. Standing 6-3, Moynihan was selected 92nd overall by Halifax at the 2013 QMJHL Entry Draft.

Prior to joining the Mooseheads, the hulking winger skated for Islanders Hockey Club 18U in the EJEPL amassing a league high 74 penalty minutes in 19 games played.

Moynihan will be joined by fellow QMJHL based players Cameron Askew of the Moncton Wildcats and Dennis Yan of the Shawinigan Cataractes.

The event will be hosted by First Niagara Center the home of the NHL’s Buffalo Sabres.
