Six QMJHL players win gold with Canada at Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup

Six Quebec Major Junior Hockey League players captured the gold medal with Team Canada at the Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup on Saturday.
Goaltender Callum Booth (Québec Remparts), along with defencemen Guillaume Brisebois (Acadie-Bathurst Titan), Nicolas Meloche (Baie-Comeau Drakkar) and Jérémy Roy (Sherbrooke Phoenix), as well as forwards Anthony Beauvillier (Shawinigan Cataractes) and Nicolas Roy (Chicoutimi Saguenéens) each were among Team Canada, who defeated Team Czech Republic 6-2 for claim their seventh straight gold medal at the tournament.
Lawson Crouse had a pair of goals for the Canadians, while Nicolas Roy, Mitchell Marner, Travis Konecny and Dylan Strome added single markers for Team Canada.
Radek Koblizek and Lukas Jasek replied with goals for Team Czech Republic.
Zachary Sawchenko made 17 saves in the game for Team Canada, while Daniel Vladar turned aside four of eight shots before being replaced by Aleš Stezka who made 14 saves in his 43:09 of relief.
