The Acadie-Bathurst Titan made two selections in the 2014 CHL Import Draft today.

With their first pick, the Titan selected Juraj Milý of Presov, Slovakia 14th overall. The five-foot-eight right-winger played with the Slovakian Under-18 and scored 12 goals and added 12 assists in 44 regular season games. He also had three goals and one assist at the IIHF Under-18 World Hockey Championship where he served as an assistant captain and was named one of the team’s Top 3 Players of the Tournament.

When speaking to the media in his native Slovakia, Milý commented, “I’m happy to be selected to the QMJHL and by Acadie-Bathurst. I should play in North America next season.”

With their second pick in the Import Draft, the Titan selected Russian forward Egor Popov of Tyumen, Russia who played with the Notre Dame Hounds the past two seasons. In 43 games this year, Popov scored 40 goals while adding 32 assists. He was also drafted by Salavat Tulaev Ufa in the fifth round of the 2014 KHL Draft.
