Former Q Goalie Finds Home In OHL
Former Sherbrooke Phoenix netminder, Jack Flinn, has found a new home in the OHL after being claimed off waivers by the Owen Sound Attack. The team made the announcement yesterday in a press release.
Flinn, 18, appeared in 18 games last season with the newly-expanded Phoenix. He posted a 1-13-2 record with a 4.49 goals against average and a .870 save percentage.
The Halifax, N.S. native was originally drafted by the Moncton Wildcats in the 5th round in the 2011 QMJHL Draft. He was acquired by Sherbrooke in the Summer of 2012.
Flinn made his OHL debut last night in a 7-5 loss to Barrie. He made 35 saves on 42 shots.
