9 QMJHL Players Invited to Canada’s U18 Selection Camp


On Thursday, Hockey Canada along with the Canadian Hockey League announced the invitees for the Canadian National Men’s Summer U18 selection camp. 9 players from the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League were among the 42 players selected.

Some of the more notable Q invitees are Daniel Audette and Alexis Pepin who were last year’s 1st and 2nd overall selections in the QMJHL Draft.

Audette, a 5-foot-8 centerman, had 10 goals and 19 assists in 54 games with the Sherbrooke Phoenix this season. The 17-year-old Pepin had 18 goals and 12 helpers in 64 games with the PEI Rocket.
